KtS extends ETA 08/0188 approval with AAC

KtS Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Werne is about to extend the European Technical Approval ETA 08/0188 with autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) for its universal frame and façade plug F1.

Experts expect a highly increasing demand for the use of AAC in the building sector. AAC is not only light-weight and easy to handle, it has also got good characteristics for thermal insulation. These advantages are recognized and used by more and more constructors and architects. To extend the ETA 08/0188 with AAC is “the logical consequence out of this development” says KtS General Manager Marian Lipp. Before, the F1 plug was approved for concrete, solid bricks, hollow bricks, and clay bricks. KtS expects to receive the added approval within the next few weeks. After that, the universal frame and façade plug F1 can be used in an even wider range. To go this step proves once more the near-to-market ambitions of KtS to generate competitive advantages through strategically well thought steps!
